Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion Timed out on YouTube

Trying to upload videos, I keep getting timed out or error messages before the video completes loading.

It says it should "take a few minutes." This is taking me a few hours.

Anyone got some tricks out there?

If you want simple to use: Ulead.com has both amateur and pro versions of software. I have also used software made by Pinnacle and found it pretty easy to use.

If you want a big "chart of options" check out http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com - Amazon usually has most of the software or you can buy from the company sites (I think all of the ones reviewed are under $100)

    Joe,

On a Mac: iMovie. On Windows: probably MovieMaker. If you want to get fancier than primarily straight cuts, the next step up on a Mac would be Final Cut Express, followed by Final Cut Studio. On a PC, head to Adobe Premiere Pro or Vegas.

Or, you can always hire us to do the fancier work for you! :-)

Believe me, Lindy, after this exchange I know you would be a good resource to tap.

No, at this point, I'm just 'playing around' and curious. (A little knowledge is dangerous.)

I'm thinking slide show of kid photos with a soundtrack for Grandma and Jeddo.
