Biznik Business Essentials workshops
Biznik Business Essentials is a new workshop series of events that are organized and promoted by Biznik, aimed at providing high-quality designed to help members build their businesses faster and become more profitable. Business Essentials events are clearly labeled with the Biznik Business Essentials logo:

Biznik Business Essentials events follow a different model than the member-created events on the Events page. Biznik takes full responsibility for organizing all aspects of these events, which include recruiting a high-quality speaker, locating and securing an appropriate venue for the event, actively promoting the event, and taking attendance during the event itself. Instructors are free to focus on what they do best: teach.
Business Essentials FAQ
1. Does my event qualify as a Business Essentials event?
In order to qualify as a Business Essentials event, your event must be sharply focused on providing helpful, useful training and instruction that will help a small business owner grow their business faster and become more profitable. We're looking for "hard" business skills, not "soft" ones. That is, specific instruction in things like "How to optimize your business website for Google" as opposed to "Build your business through the power of positive thinking." Finally, you will need to have an proven track record of hosting quality events of this kind. 2. Do I get paid the same way for a Biznik Business Essentials event as I do for Biznik events that I organize?
No. Biznik does the work of organizing and promoting these events, so we keep a larger percentage of the revenue generated from these events. We negotiate your speaker stipend with you on a case-by-case basis.
