Software Developer

Biznik is hiring a software developer to join our Seattle team at our office in Fremont.

About us: Biznik is a social network for forward-thinking business people, currently 27,000 strong, and growing rapidly. We have a bunch of awards under our belt. We're generating solid revenue. Seattle Business Monthly recently named the cofounders to their top 25 list of most innovative entrepreneurs.

Required skills:

• 1+ years development experience with Rails. Experience with large applications (high traffic, multiple servers, 24/7 availability) a plus.
• Strong knowledge of open source database tools, e.g. Mysql or Postgresql.
• Strong knowledge of OO Javascript, frontend CSS and AJAX development.

These will skip you to the head of the line:

• A degree is CS or the equivalent.
• UI and graphic design experience.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices.
