- Better visibility in directory and search results - your profile will outrank all free members.
- Enhanced profile, which includes your most recent blog posts, so members can see at a glance what you're blogging about - without requiring you to write .
- You set your fee for hosting an event - and keep 100 percent of it.
- Search engine optimization for your profile, which gets you noticed.
- Send unlimited messages to other members (but NO SPAM).
- Discounts & invitations to special events.
- Avoid $7 surcharge on all fee-based events paid by Basic members.
- Include up to 2 URLs on your profile.
- Include a business logo on your profile.
- Include groups and associations on your profile.
- Promotions you post will outrank Basic member promotions, increasing their visibility.
SUPPORTING - For $24 a month, are you ready to get noticed? You support us, and we'll support you by doing everything we can to promote you. Supporting membership includes all Active benefits, plus:
- Best ranking in directory and search results - you profile will outrank all and active and free members.
- Preferred rotation on Biznik home page in your community - you'll be introduced to more members from your community who view the site than any other level of membership.
- Additional promotional features as we release them will be available to supporting members only.
- Promotions you post will display above Basic and Active member promotions, making your promotions most visible sitewide.
- An html signature is included in all your posts, driving traffic to your own site from Biznik. Supporting members get approximately 25 times more click-throughs to their sites than Basic members.
Membership FAQ
Is this a long-term commitment? Can I pay in advance?
Biznik is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no long term contracts of commitments on your part. If you cancel, you'll be billed for the current month, but you won't be billed again.
Can I change plans easily? Absolutely. Simply click on the "Your Account" tab on your profile. Also, we'll never ding you with a "set-up" or extra "one-time" fees when you upgrade.
Benefits details
Findability/Visibility - On Biznik, activity = visibility. The more active you are, the higher you rank in the member directory, and in search results. On top of that algorithm, we add special treatment for paying members: Active members outrank all Basic members, and Supporting Members outrank everybody else.
Search Engine Optimization - Biznik profiles are highly optimized to rank highly in Google search results and in local search. Creating a Biznik profile will help get you and your business noticed.
Host Free Events - Any Biznik member can host a free event. Hosting an event is a great way to build your business - it increases your visibility in the community, helps build community, and allows you to share your knowledge. It's a real win-win for everyone involved.
Host Fee-Based Events - As an Active or Supporting member, you can set a fee for your events(such as educational seminars and workshops), and keep 100 percent of the fee you set. Biznik makes money by adding a transaction fee to each RSVP, which is paid by the attendee. Biznik provides you the tools that allow you to handle all online reservations and payments.
Discounts & Invitations to Special Events - Active and Supporting Members receive invitations to paying-members-only events such as happy hours, invitations to participate in private beta tests of new site features, and receive special offers that Basic members do not receive.
Video Profile - Active and Supporting Members can post a video profile instantly, from within their browser, if you have a video camera. You may also upload video you have previously recorded to your profile.
Enhanced Profile - Active and Supporting members receive additional features that make viewing their profile more compelling, such as a tool that allows you to display your most recent blog posts on your profile. Additional features only available to Active and Supporting members: List additional websites on your profile, list up to 5 associations on your profile, and ability to display a business logo on your profile.
Enhanced Promotion - Supporting members receive additional promotion on and off the Biznik website. Most significantly, Supporting Members are displayed above all Basic and Active members, which increases your visibility and findability, not only by humans but also by search engines like Google.
Featured Promotion - Supporting members get preferential display for their promotions, and their promotions are featured on the member page, exposing them to a much larger audience. It's like buying a highly targeted ad for $24/month, which given the price of advertising, is a fantastic deal.
HTML signature - Supporting members get an html signature that displays a link to their website every time they post on Biznik, which results in approximately 25 times more clickthroughs from Biznik to their site than Basic members receive.
Unlimited promotions - Supporting members can post an unlimited number of promotions, while Active members are limited to one per week, and Basic members can post only one per month.
