Free Resources for Your Business

Since April is coming to a close, this is the last day of Intuit’s sponsorship of Biznik.  I thought I’d close off by providing some free resources for small businesses. Intuit has a number of these resources and I think they could be of value to some of you in the Biznik community. So, here it goes:

Financial Management Products

Billing Manager: This is a simple and free online solution for managing your invoices and getting paid by customers.  Here’s what you can do with it:

• Select from professional invoice templates
• Email or print online invoices
• See each invoice’s history—when it was sent, received and paid
• See what’s overdue and easily send reminders
• We do the math (sales tax too!) for fast, accurate invoices

Simple Start: This is a basic financial management software that allows you to manage money going into and out of your business. It doesn’t have all of the functionality of QuickBooks Pro (our paid product), but it has a lot of the basic features that a new business might need. It is free to use – no restrictions. Go to this link to download it. 

Marketing Products:

Free Business Listings: This is a service that will let you get listed on many of the major search engines all at once. Rather than having to go to each search engine and list yourself, you can just put in your information once. If that information changes, then you only need to go to one place to update it. Go to this link to sign up.  (Note, there is also a paid version of this product… but, again, the free version has some great benefits.)
