<p>The E-mail Subject Header read: KNOW THE SYMPTOMS? PLEASE READ!</p>
<p>Thank goodness there's a name for this disorder. Somehow I feel better even though I’m certain that I have it. You see, recently I was diagnosed with A³D² <strong><em>– Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder</em></strong></p>
<p><strong>This is how it manifests:</strong> </p>
<p>I decided to water my garden,</p>
<p>but as I turned on the hose in the driveway,</p>
<p>I looked over at my car and decided it needed washing.</p>
<p>I started toward the garage for a bucket and soap</p>
<p>when I noticed a stack of mail on the porch table</p>
<p>that I had brought up from the mail box earlier.</p>
<p>I decide to go through the mail before washing the car</p>
<p>and ended up laying my car keys on the table…</p>
<p><em>(the forwarded E-mail continues on for another 25 lines of absent minded, tail chasing behavior)</em></p>
<p>The following is an actual E-mail exchange between a couple engaged to be married. She had sent the humorous E-mail about “Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder” to him. As he read through the amusing piece, that had no doubt been forwarded hundreds of times before, he slowly realized why the storyline generated vivid thoughts of him in her mind’s eye.</p>
