Here are a few tips to help you get organize and make the most of your time towards completing your goals.

Pick an area your house that you spend a lot of time in to become command central, for example, the kitchen. Then add the following to start getting organized:

Monthly calendar - A monthly calendar allows you to see how and when you are busy during the month. Use it for everything, every task you do write it down on the calendar. You can make one yourself with a large poster board or purchase a desk calendar and place it on the wall.

Two week lists - Make space for your daily activities for two weeks. This is for more of a detailed daily list. By having a two week list, you have room to write all of your weekly goals and errands. Add a color code the two week list with different colored paper or pens for important events.

Wish list - Add a wish list of things you would like to buy to help with your promotions. Your wish list could include a large work table or new software. Remember to search for new books that could be excellent resources for your business.

Receipt box - Place a box for all of your monthly receipts. Remember, that no purchase is too small for the receipt box. So when you add up everything you will know how you spend your money instead of guessing.  Knowing how your funds are being used could help you create a concrete budjet.

Quotes – Write a few of your favorite quotes on index cards and taped them to the wall. It may seem unnecessary, but when you come to a stand still those quotes will get you moving towards your goals again.  It really does work!

Phones - Don't forget about this handy device that you carry around anyway.  Most phones have appointments section that you can enter in important reminders.  And you can set the appointments with an alarm if you need that extra push.

Finding the best way to organize yourself is key to your business being successful.  Without a mapped out plan it will be extremely hard to know the next step for your business.

If you are normally an unorganized person, try out the tips to find which is the easier to follow.  My suggestion would be the phonie appointments.  Since you have it you will get the reminder and during down time you can enter in new appointments.

No matter how great your product or art work is, no one will know unless you promote.

By truly understanding your time and your habits, you will be to devote more quality time and funds to marketing your art or business.

Each of us works differently and I like that you've pointed out the importance of understanding one's habits and time.

From that understanding we can decide what we need to do - stop, start and continue.
