Event description

If you aren't taking care of yourself you're not watering the roots of your business!

Those who laugh last laugh the loudest. It is so powerful when we can laugh at our own folly and find the hidden gems. This event will be an opportunity to share your wisdom and gain some from others as we talk about the mistakes that we've made and learned from doing business. Can we still call them mistakes if they taught us??? In the first half of our time we will be sharing our 'mistake stories so bring your hardest, funniest, messiest, or scariest mistake story with you to share.
Sharing is optional.

Here is the link to the article I wrote recently about taking risks and the wisdom we gain from the things we have labeled mistakes. http://biznik.com/articles/the-record-shows-i-took-the-blows-and-did-it-my-way

Wouldn't it be beneficial if someone could tell you exactly where to focus your attention next and your business would take off?

The second half of our time will be spent discovering YOUR specific next step in success. Each of you will leave with valuable next step information to move your business forward in a way that is unique to you. The process that I will lead you through is fun and a taste of what I do with my clients. You can read descriptions of their experiences on my profile page under compliments.

After some instruction you will be free to network and have lunch if you like. The Mosaic Coffee House is a non-profit and provides wonderful soups, breads and latte's for a donation.

    Shannon,

I love that word, interesting. I use it a lot because it helps me to not judge what I'm talking about. Like isn't that ___________ (interesting) is always the best choice because it helps to keep me open and not labeling what just happened. Bring your interesting experience I have a tree shredder and we'll make mulch together!

What a good topic for the new business paradigm, Karen. I have a feeling this will be powerful. I have a collection of faults I'm aware of that are ready to transform in to assets. I'm looking forward to this workshop.

  • Karen Floyd
Posted by Karen Floyd, Seattle, Washington | Jul 06, 2009

    Hi Nancy,

I like your plan to turn the faults into assets and that we will do! Some of us won't have to hunt very hard to find the ingredients for our assets!

I am excited too. I love working with people who are aware and willing to live a bigger life!

    See you Tuesday at noon.

It was an inspiration listening to how so many have gone through so much. Every time I hear an 'indi' talk about their dreams it helps rekindle my own a bit. Great meet.

The best part of this event was that even if we thought we knew what to expect, we didn't truly know what to expect. And Karen reminded us to breathe. Who else does that?

  • Karen Floyd
Posted by Karen Floyd, Seattle, Washington | Jul 08, 2009

Thanks to everyone for attending and being real. Unfortunately that is not common. My dream for all of us is that we get clear about who we are, what we want, confident enough to live it! We're on track~ and don't forget to Breathe! :)
