Seattle Community

Event description

Presented by Joe Shirley.

In his book The Path of Least Resistance, Robert Fritz provides a road map for getting out of "reactive/responsive" mode (you know - where your day is spent putting out fires) and into "Creative" mode. He distills the creative process and shows how effective it can be when you apply it to running your life, or building your business.

The starting place for the Creative mode is a vision - a clear articulation of what you want to create. When we're entrenched in reactive/responsive mode, however, the visions we create often come from a place of doubt and insecurity. If we do manage to move toward them, we discover they're not really what we want, so motivation plunges.

The secret to fully inhabiting Creative mode lies in first getting fully out of fear. Then, from a place of confidence and courage, the visions you create will come from your true desires. They'll be compelling, and you'll lunge forward to manifest them.

Along the way, you'll experience challenges and vacillations in your motivation. But because the vision you formed is sufficiently compelling, you will use all your obstacles as stepping stones to creating what you want.

In this class, I'll summarize Robert Fritz's teachings and lead you through a 9JOYS process to help move any fears and doubts that may be getting in the way of your having a vision of what you truly want to create. We'll conclude with a brief visioning process to help you get started.

Come ready to open up a new world of possibilities for yourself and your business.
