Very informative, thanks Matt for sharing your years of sales experience with us. There was too much good information to talk about in the two and a half hours we had. The largest nugget for me was knowing that it is not only okay to ask people for their business, in the proper context they expect it. Yay to that.

It seems like such an obvious thing, asking for a sale, but I'm pretty sure it's something I forget to do more often than I've realized. So thanks, Matt, for reminding me not only of that, but giving a great overview of what sales is all about and why indie business types like us should always be doing it.

Much of what was addressed are things I am already familiar with - never hurts to be reminded what you already know though!

The only glitch for me was that as it seemed to be done, Matt went back over some things he felt he hadn't covered well or at all and it kind of messed with a clean ending feeling, which always gives me a clear sense of things to reflect on. I felt a bit discombulated from the ending that carried on.

    Good presentation otherwise.

Pardon that i started sketching madly while i was listening - i got a "design download" suddenly for a client and i have to put these things on paper pronto when the inspiration hits!

Sorry also for taking off suddenly. I realized I had school stuff to take care of!

    Thanks again!
