Seattle Community

Event description

Join Seattle's indie business community for a cocktail or three at Liberty in Capitol Hill and discover what radical self promotion can do for your business. Happy Hour at Liberty is Biznik's most popular event, and a great way to meet people who are as unapologetically themselves in business as you are.

I have to cancel! My husband and 2 year old daughter are going to Germany for 6 weeks and I realized I want to spend this last week at home with them, before they go. I'll try to make the Happy Hour on October 16th, though.

    Have fun! ;-)

    Kisses, Ms. Scarlett

These events tend to go until at least 9pm, so that should be fine. (And there's always a bunch who stay even later than that --sometimes MUCH later!--so we'll see you when you get there.

Quick tip that I've shared before, but want to drop again - it's really helpful to click through and glance at the profiles of everyone you don't already know who will be attending. That way, you can develop a "must talk to that person" mental list in advance.

I met an Irish serial entrepreneur last night, a creativity coach, a guy who makes sex machines, and an architect with whom I had a vigorous debate about the environmental impact of Burning Man.

That's my kind of networking event! Thanks everybody for sharing your independence, passion, and creativity. This really is a business networking group that doesn't suck.
