Seattle Community

Event description

Have you seen MyDayOffice yet? That place is amazing! Come down and check it out over drinks with Seattle's indie business community. Meet your next client, business partner or simply someone like you who is building a business of her own. You'll also have a chance to meet Biznik member Shauna Brennan, who opened MyDayOffice in late September, and learn more about co-working.

What is co-working? Coworking is a movement to create a community of collaboration spaces for independent business people. And MyDayOffice is in the vanguard of this movement, with a place that indies can call “office” without having to shell out the hefty rental fees that would otherwise be required to rent an office of your own.

I'll be at the Feist concert that night or I'd be there. I'd encourage everyone to check out My Day Office. It's fabulous! Shauna has done an amazing job creating a very inviting, state of the art work space for indie business people. Check it out!

We're really thrilled to have MyDayOffice as a sponsor of this event, as well. There's a lot of synergy between what Shauna's doing with her co-working space, and what Biznik does in the virtual space.

It sounds really cool to me - I think I'll make it my first "Westside" Biznik event ... I've heard great things about what Shauna is doing.

I would strongly recommend attending this event. If you haven't experienced (and i mean "experience") My Day Office yet, you are really in for a mind blow! it is an amazing concept. Fully baked! nothing over looked. Shauna is inspiring in her vision and energy. I helped her develop the dress code & uniforms for her staff and she was incredible to work with. This concept if for every person who has ever had a meeting in a Starbucks, and felt lame doing it.

This looks like such a great even, but I will be out of town that day I am very curious about My Day Office and will look into it when I get back. It sounds like a really innovative concept.

I'd love to go, but would want to carpool with someone from the Eastside. If there is anyone who would be willing to share a ride, please let me know. I live in Renton, but could drive to Issaquah, Sammamish or possibly somewhere right off 405 in Bellevue.

If you're interested, please let me know.

    Thanks!

Yeah I was thinking we'd get a hundred members out to this, but you guys are surprising me! I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of you for the first time. I've been to the space and I'm guessing there's room for up to 200 ... Shauna, can you confirm if I should set a maximum number?
