What is "alt-lifestyle?"

Are you "alt?"

If you go to this meeting will people laugh and point at you and think you're weird, different, and risqu??

Yeah, probably.

Just kidding.

But it will mean that a whole network of thousands of open-minded, awesome people will be wanting to hire you and work with you above other people who may have a business doing the same thing that you do.

I started this whole networking event to generate more clients for myself. It is now, turning into a focal point for business owners of very non-traditional lifestyles to rise up in their community and get noticed.

I also have noticed it strengthening the integrity of the alternative communities by facilitating comfortable, relaxed connections and business alliances.

Similar lifestyle, in this arena, is a platform... a common denominator of acceptance for people's individual paths that, in turn, makes for really exceptional business dealings.

I have found that the people coming to this event are easily accessible and approachable, so I find it very easy to feel comfortable to express both my passion and my struggles with life as an entrepreneur.

Not to mention - I have gotten some really great clients and made some money... which is what business is all about; more or less. More lofty goals such as connection and "strengthening good community" are also what it's all about, at least to me.

So come on down to the Spitfire! The Happy Hour dishes are half off during the Spitfire's Happy hour time, which ends at 6pm, and they are "just right" size for an end-of-day snacking. The drinks are pretty good too.

  Sheesh. Sierra, your event is back to back with the general Biznik Happy Hour! Hard for folks to do both. I have another gig Monday anyway and so will hopefully catch the next one. Have fun!

  I regret that I cannot attend tonight. I was asked to work late at my secondary job and I just got home and am exhausted. I am looking forward to going next month; I hope you are all having a great time!
