Seattle Community

Event description

I threw out a question to the community asking if a seminar on how to sell from the heart, or selling like a human being would be helpful. People responded wanting to learn to sell, how to close after they've presented, how people didn't see themselves as salesmen/persons.

So, what I'm going to do is get us over to Amore about 6, let us mill around for about a half hour, then present and answer questions for 30-45 minutes. After that we can network and chat......

James/Jim/Shoes, wow - I love your energy around the sales topic. I am so bummed that I'll be speaking in Canada that day.

Here's a neat little video someone just sent me about the art of selling: http://www.theartofsellingmovie.com/ ( I own the book he mentions at the end, and it is a good read, but go here to see the video)

Selling is very admirable - and for everyone who has a great idea or has done a wonderful project for someone but you don't have recurring revenues from ongoing products or services, learning the fun, high-integrity aspects of selling is a big deal. Have fun, and if you do another one, be sure to let me know!

This sucks! I have to cancel my RSVP. It looks as though, however, that more people will want this in the future, so I hope to be able to attend that one. Sorry James. Have fun!

I think I can make it - I'm going to try, but don't hurt me if I fail.

I have to admit it was the name of the event that hooked me. I was just watching an old Star trek episode last night, please don't tell anyone. I have all 3 seasons on DVD. I hope to be there.
