Seattle Community

Event description

I'm looking for people to chat with about running your own small business. I'd like to have a discussion of the vision we have of our businesses. Where will your business be in 2-5 years, and what are you doing to get there, in terms of process improvement, nailing down your vision, managing employees, etc.

We're meeting at 72nd and Green Lake Dr. N. (see map on this page) There's a big grassy area on the park side, and that's where the Bizniks will be. It's between the basketball court and the road.

Please ask other owners before allowing your dog to greet another dog. Here's an article on dog greetings: http://www.flyingdogpress.com/sayhishort.html

I have some advice on leash walking on my blog: http://ahimsadogtraining.com/blog/ (over to the right is the article section.)

Shy dogs welcome!

Hi Grisha, I'm so glad to see you've joined the Biznik community! Cooper is 2 1/2 now, and it will be great to see you-- the puppy training I took with you was invaluable! Lori

The idea of networking while exercising my adopted Greyhound is fantastic!

Bringing my dog. I'm pretty sure she'll be overflowing with excitement and go nuts, but will try to maintain control of her. :)

Lori - looking forward to seeing you and Cooper again. I've really had a rush on Bernese Mountain dogs in the last few months - my puppy class on Sunday had FOUR!

This is my third Biznik dog walk and I have had a great time at the last two. Surprisingly, so has my shy dog, Peanut. It is definitely harder to walk your dog in a big group, but they get the hang of it. See you on Friday (and I'll be sending out a message to participants soon).

I am sorry that I won't be able to join the dog walk on Friday. I will try to join the next one.
