Event description

This is the Biz Networking class you have requested. A sequel to How To Toot Your Own Horn. Learn and practice how to brag professionally at live events while building trust and better relationships with your networking partners.

------------------------------------------------------------------

How come so many indies deliver services so brilliantly but have trouble communicating what they do?

Would you like to learn the secrets of bragging shamelessly (without sounding obnoxious, conceited, or sales-y)?

In this workshop we will share:

  1. The single most effective thing you can do when you meet someone for the very first time.

  2. The one action guaranteed to destroy your potential business relationship.

  3. How to take the first step to building trust before you leave a meeting.

  4. And a whole lot more.... Including online bragging tips and search engine visibility if we have time

Our first 20 minutes or so will allow you to practice your "before" speech through informal networking. After some expert training, you are invited to volunteer to practice your new brag, with feedback from the group. A very productive (and fun) two hours.

We will limit the size of our class because we want plenty of time for attendee participation and coaching.

View some comments and pictures from our last Shameless Bragging Event.

At the conclusion of our workshop, we will all go to lunch together to practice some more.

I MAY have a potential schedule conflict, but I wanted to secure a spot just in case. I will find out soon and if need be drop to make space for someone else to brag in my stead. :((

I'd love to come "brag" with the rest of you, but I've got a scheduling conflict. Looking forward to participating again--although the prospect of starting to brag with the now-experienced braggers in the future is a bit daunting! :)

    Howard,

Really wanted to attend this morning, a bit jetlagged from LA more than I thought I would have been! Will be sure to attend in glowing spirits next time! Hope the event was a good one.
