Event description

Do you know what your business visions are? Can you describe them in detail? Can you show someone a picture of your business dreams?

This is a great opportunity to; create, hone, focus on, snip at, enhance, augment, write about, change, see, evaluate, digest ... really start to sink into what you want your business to be. AND you will have a visual representation of what that will be on your way to manifesting your business in 3-D!

Can you think of a better way to get the folks around you excited about what you're doing?

I'LL BRING: Posterboard, scissors, glue, tape, pencils, markers, additional magazines.

YOU'LL BRING: *Your Business Visions, Your Creativity, Your Joy *Magaizines with pictures/words that match your Visions *Photos that match your Visions (you have 2 weeks to take some more!)

THE VENUE: Will have beverages, soups, quiche, bagels, croissants

Event Background:

In the Fall of '06, I decided I wanted to buy a used RED Prius by March of '07 for a certain price. Having watched "The Secret" I decided to put a specific picture wtih custom additions of it on my cork board in my office.

The picture I found was of a BLUE Prius. I also drew Spike Spiders on the wheels for snow.

By February of '07 I was "certain" I wasn't going to be finding "my" Prius by March, if ever. However, in March, I took "one-last-look" on Craigslist.

By the end of March, I had purchase my BLUE Prius for the price and in the condition I wanted. I later found some Spike Spiders to go with it. COINCIDENCE?

For the past several months, I've been thinking about hosting a Vision Board Party. One of my phrases is, "It's not just seeing opportunity, it's seizing opportunity that makes things happen."

Well, Biznik has created the perfect venue for seizing this opportunity and bringing together creative, exciting vision-making-real people.

Let's manifest!

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend your even this time .....but please do host it again in the future.

I believe in the power of intention to manifest abundance and getting together with folks to play with that in arts and crafts form sounds so fun!

    Have a great time! -Sarah

    Thanks, Sarah!

The first event was a fun beginning to the process of making intention visible.

Although it's not posted yet, I have Mosaic Coffee reserved for the 2nd of July at the same time, 11:30 - 1:30. Look for my posting in the next week or so.

    Happy Friday, -Dirk

Great idea! Vision boards, treasure maps, or dream boards -- regardless of the name, the concept absolutely works.

I'm looking forward to this. Thank you Dirk for hosting it.

Welcome ot your first event, Sharon!

This is the second time for this event and it looks like we're going to have a wonderful group of people.

My focus is on the process of creating a vision board to hone it to a fine likeness of what I'm after in my life. I suppose it's like the design process on a remodel where you, detail by detail, circle around a project until it becomes what you want!

    See you tomorrow.

This was a fantastic group of people! All very passionate about life and what they do. I got the distinct feeling that we have a fundraising event in our future as a group. Everyone was very positive and willing to share. I highly recommend it!
