Get Outside of Your Own Box! Idea Exchange for Solo Creatives

Are you a creative person working alone? Are you looking for inspiration, feedback and the exchange of ideas? Do you miss having coworkers you can bounce your ideas off of? That other set of eyes when you've been staring at your project too long? Being inspired by others' ideas? This event is for you! We'll spend a few minutes getting to know each other and then organize into small interest-based groups to set up ongoing critique meetings. Bring along a portfolio page for show and tell.

  Anita - this location is in Wallingford, and parking is not at all difficult near the venue. Hope you can make it.

  Unless there's a flurry of last minute RSVP's, I will probably re-schedule this event to another time, as so far 80% of interested respondents have had a conflict with this currently scheduled time. So please let me know if there are times that would be better for you.

  I live in Wallingford and was planning to host just such an event in my home on Saturday between 1 and 4!

  Since I am a creative process consultant, I seek out people who would like to share about their approach to creativity in the middle of a project, and/or tell/show finished work.

  I'd love to offer my space, or else attend your new event another time!

  Oops, I forgot to start with my initial thought: this sounds like an awesome event I'd like to attend.

  I was struggling with whether to 'offer' an event, or admit that I need a sounding board (or braindump!) myself!
