Event description

This is another in the famous series of 2.4 mile Walk and Talks in Seward Park. Again I've partnered with my personal trainer, friend and fellow Biznik, Tyler Oakley. Tyler will lead us through some stretching and warm-up exercises before we start our walk.

Be sure to dress for the weather; we walk whatever the weather gods give us.

Please note: PETS ON LEASH AND CHILDREN ARE WELCOME! For the sake of the Biznik event, they just need to be able to keep up.

Meet at the park headquarters (Environmental Ed Center on the map) on the park entry loop road. Park in one of the two parking lots to your right as you enter the park (See the park map found at the second link below).

We'll take long enough to introduce ourselves before we begin. We'll start the warm-up and stretch at 9:15 sharp. We'll do the loop clockwise this time; so, if you're late you know which way to go to catch up.

Find info on the park and a park map (pdf) at the sites below.

A map of the park. You will find the meeting place and the parking lots here. Click on the map so you download a map in pdf format. You will have to use the zoom feature of your pdf viewer to blow this thing up big enough for it to be useful. http://www.seattle.gov/parks/trails_detail.asp?id=428

John... Almost 2 years ago (9/18/07) I hosted my first Biznik event and YOU attended. You were one of the first Biznik's I met. You responded with a generous Biznik compliment. It is my honor to be your friend.

Since that time, I've hosted 170 Biznik events, met hundreds of great people, many of whom have became friends and/or clients.

I look forward to taking a walk with you and talking about life and life's lessons on the 8th anniversary of 9/11/01.

I'm personally dedicating the day to re-connections, reflections, and re-energizing my commitment to friends and associates.

    See you there. ...Howard

Maybe I can shoot some video. Think long distance shots. Think of walking alongside a conversation and tracking the conversants. Or would making the video change the flow and texture of the event too much?

New to BN this week. With half those attending named Howard perhaps I should wear my brother's name tag...He's a Howard too! Looking forward to meeting you all.

Howard G (Howard #3): This is a free form event. A little video shouldn't create problems. I look forward to meeting you.

Sheila: Maybe we should all show up with Howard name tags. What a hoot. I look forward to welcoming a new Biznik.

Welcome to Biznik, Kinji. It will be a pleasure to meet you and introduce you to one of the least stressful ways to meet Bizniks and have meaningful conversations.

If you hope to keep up with Ann, Howard, you will need a very fast lens.

    John... Great photos too!

I failed to get your card and as a new member (non-paying) I can't email anymore today. But if you want, I've combined those two group photos into one. Just email me (sheila AT hoffmangraphics DOT com) and I'll send it to you to upload.
