Event description

This is another in the famous series of 2.4 mile Walk and Talks in Seward Park. Again I've partnered with my personal trainer, friend and fellow Biznik, Tyler Oakley. Tyler will lead us through some stretching and warm-up exercises before we start our walk.

Be sure to dress for the weather; we walk whatever the weather gods give us.

Please note: PETS ON LEASH AND CHILDREN ARE WELCOME! For the sake of the Biznik event, they just need to be able to keep up.

Meet at the park headquarters (Environmental Ed Center on the map) on the park entry loop road. Park in one of the two parking lots to your right as you enter the park (See the park map found at the second link below).

We'll take long enough to introduce ourselves before we begin. We'll start the warm-up and stretch at 9:15 sharp. We'll do the loop counter-clockwise this time; so, if you're late you know which way to go to catch up.

Find info on the park and a park map (pdf) at the sites below.

A map of the park. You will find the meeting place and the parking lots here. Click on the map so you download a map in pdf format. You will have to use the zoom feature of your pdf viewer to blow this thing up big enough for it to be useful. http://www.seattle.gov/parks/trails_detail.asp?id=428

John, I have an appointment at the Seattle Yacht Club at 11:00 on Friday ...... I don't see how I am going to pull off the walk and make it to the appointment and look glamorous soooooo, much as I HATE to do this, I have to unRSVP. I am super disappointed because I was really looking forward to the walk.

You'll have other chances, Joy. Look for a similar event in early November at Seward Park or Kubota Gardens.
