To Maximize Your Experience
Do a little homework. Take 20-40 minutes to identify your goals over the next 5 years. What will your life look like professionally, financially, physically and socially? (i.e., Professionally - you have had 250 radio interviews, sold 100,000 copies of your book/widgets. Financially - making $10,000/speech, saved over 1 million in your IRA, paid for kids college, earning $800,000/yr. Physically - lost 40 lbs, jogging 3 miles/day, completed a triatholon. Socially - you have an amazing marriage, 25 dynamic friends, you are attending monthly dinner parties or fund raising events, involved in the community.) Make your goals realistic, specific and measurable. We will have fun AND we want you to feel like, YES, I can really make this happen.
To make #1 simple, just pick 5 things that at the end of 5 years that if you accomplished them, you'd be a glowing ball of pride and joy.
For those of you "Acting As If," bring props and/or dress as if you have reached your goals (i.e., if you are financially independent and golfing all day, bring a golf club and wear a golf cap. If you are a best selling author, create a headline news cover or showy book cover. If you are a top sales person, bring an huge award. If you have traveled the world, bring stuff you collected from around the world. If you are a millionaire and living the good life, wear some snazzy suit or flip flops since you're lounging on the beach all day. Bring a pseudo bank statement showing your 7 figure income. Think big. Be outrageous. We are going to have FUN!)
Special Promotional Opportunity The first 10 people to register and send a message to Kiomi Mount to her Biznik profile, will be able to display a New Year's promotional item (i.e, postcards or 8x11 flyers describing your promotion) at this event. Please be sure to put in the email msg header, "Promotion." I'll make a note here when all 10 spots are taken, you can then be put on the waiting list if someone cancels.

Ditto!
I will be able to open up 2 more spaces, since 2 of the people who registered are speakers. So Mark and Leif, you're in!
I did send an email to all the participants requesting they do cancel if they can't attend to open up space for someone else.
Thanks for your interest and look forward to seeing you there.
Kiomi
I have a conflict so I need to cancel. I would love to attend a future offering and hope that photos are posted on BizNik to see people's creativity!
I've had to cancel as well due to not feeling well. I really wanted to attend. Everybody have a wonderful time in the future! See you in the past!
Hi Kiomi, I won't be able to make it tonight afterall. Which is too bad because I was really looking forward to it. I hope you have another event like this one!
I hope so too . . . I was so looking forward to this event, and now I have to cancel b/c apparently I've caught a bug :o(
I look forward to meeting many of you tonight at the Acting As If seminar. I hope to get a card of yours so I can help your business grow!

I am sorry to have to cancel, as I woke up not feeling well. I was so looking forward to this, especially after your last event was so good. I waited until the last minute in the hopes that I would get better, but I just coughed up a lung.
Hey As-Ifers, If you had fun role-playing the future last night, one thought you might consider is to go to futureme.org and send yourself a letter into the future... perhaps the specific goals/ideas for 2013 that you came up with. I just did it myself and set the date for 2012, christmas day. A little surprise present for myself (:
Also, if you found this type of 'goal-play' helpful, I do this as part of my coaching practice with clients (face to face or over the phone), as well as other creative games and exercises which clients report are really effective at helping them dive into the details and move towards their dreams. Role-plays can be about for just about any time, situation, relationship and more. Warmly, Leif
Kiomi, I wanted to say thanks for creating such an interesting and vivacious event! I loved the variety of presenters...several of whom I've been wanting to meet for months, and I also loved the large group of engaged attendees. I had a fabulous time talking to all the people there and I see that you are responsible for bringing us all together. Thank you for having such a bright vision and creating a great night!
Due to technical difficulties, Kiomi is having a difficult time recording attendance for this event. Please bear with us (and her) while we get the bug worked out.
Hi Kiomi, I wanted to echo everyone here and say "thanks" for organizing the event. It was obvious to me that you put a lot of time and effort into putting it together, and I hope it paid off well for you:) I know I got a lot out of it -- Cheers also to the presenters!
