Event description

You built your body up on the left side last time. This time we work on the right side.

We're having a walk early enough in the day that you folks with regular office hours and early meetings can get in a vigorous walk and some networking before starting your work day.

Please note: CHILDREN AND PETS ON LEASH ARE WELCOME! For the sake of the Biznik event, they just need to be able to keep up.

The description from the first event is still appropriate here: "This is an opportunity to get some exercise in one of Seattle's premier parks, while engaging in small group conversations about whatever is on your mind. I expect that the setting will have an an impact on your conversation(s) equal to the exercise you'll be getting.

"Aside from the technology you use to get to the park, this is a no-tech event. The only sounds heard should be the sounds of our conversations overlaying the sounds of the birds, the wind in the trees and maybe the raindrops. Be sure to dress for the weather; we walk whatever the weather gods give us.

"Meet at the park headquarters (Environmental Ed Center on the map) on the park entry loop road. Park in one of the two parking lots to your right as you enter the park (See the park map found at the second link below).

"We'll take long enough to introduce ourselves before we walk. We'll depart the meeting point at 7:15 sharp. We'll do the loop counter-clockwise this time; so, if you're late you know which way to go to catch up. Find info on the park and a park map (pdf) at the sites below.

"Directions to the park and general information http://www.seattle.gov/Parks/environment/seward.htm

"A map of the park. You will find the meeting place and the parking lots here. Click on the map so you download a map in pdf format. You will have to use the zoom feature of your pdf viewer to blow this thing up big enough for it to be useful. http://www.seattle.gov/parks/trails_detail.asp?id=428"

Cindy and Natasha: It will be a pleasure to meet both of you. And if you aren't familiar with Seward Park, it will be my pleasure to introduce you to one of Seattle's premier parks.

Brenda: I enjoyed meeting and talking with you at the walk on the 17th and am happy to see you are coming back for more.

Hey, Karrie. Will we be seeing you at this event?

Weather is predicted (for what it's worth) to be very nice tomorrow.

Sloan: I hope you are able to make it. It's been a while since we last talked and I would like to catch up with what you are doing.

    See y'all in the morning.

    John,

Looks like a cozy group to walk with....I'm just over here in West Seattle/White Center, so thought I"d join others who (might) love the early morning air, birds and water.
