Event description

Learn what you don’t know about how the economy affects buyer behavior. Using the right information will be enable you to double your effectiveness in getting more clients- without costing you a ton of advertising money, or making you feel like a pushy used car salesman.

In this interactive presentation we will look at the six changes that occur for consumers and small businesses during a tough economy and how you can use this knowledge to actually increase market share and profitability when times are tough. We will also look at the five main free actions most service people should be taking, but aren’t.

Unlike a typical marketing or sales training, this workshop will address head on the common mistakes most service providers and small businesses make in their marketing. It will also focus on information about how customers are buying differently in these tough times, and provide you with practical steps you can take to create a change for your business now.

Throughout the workshop we will stay focused on helping you to maintain your authenticity and discover a marketing approach that is fun and right for you while avoiding cold calling, pushy conversations and other uncomfortable "hard selling" techniques.

During the workshop, you will also have plenty of time to get to know your fellow attendees and "try out" the information we are learning.

Cost This 3 hour workshop is totally FREE

(Note: this workshop is a very simmlar workshop to the one I held on June 22, -some fresh improvements but most of the same information-you are totally welcome to attend again, but know it will be a refresher. This is mostly for those who could not make it the firs titme around.)

I joined bizik just because Mari told me she was doing a biznik event. I have taken classes from her before and I always learn something really helpful. Now- if I can just put all those ideas into practice!

Thank you for your comments Karen! I look forward to meeting you. I am a big believer in audio recordings/podcasts for marketing. They have done very well for my clients. However I am not familiar with blogtalk. I will have to learn from you!

I have sent out an e-mail to previous workshop attendees and posted on my meetup page to ask if anyone else knows about blogtalk. Hopefully we will get some answers from some expert out there.

Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday!

Thank you Mari for providing such an upbeat and valuable, information packed event. I enjoyed meeting you and felt I came away with some new and interesting ideas to apply toward my marketing efforts. This was the first event I have attended since becoming a new member of Biznik and I had a great experience. You obviously know your stuff and are very motivating. Thanks for sharing your time and energy!

Wow Mari! I couldn't believe how fast time flew during your workshop. What a great presentation. Not only did you provide practical ideas that I’ve already applied, but I have a better understanding of marketing concepts and what’s happening today. You are very inspirational - thanks for sharing!
