Event description
Have you ever considered writing and/or publishing a book?
Are you already published and looking for some ideas on how to sell more copies of your book?
If so this gathering is for you. Aspiring and Published Authors will meet at the Mosaic Coffeehouse from 11AM to 2PM to network and learn from each others experience.
Individual introductions will start promptly at 11AM. Each attendee will have the opportunity to Shamelessly Brag about themselves while Howard is sharing Biznik Networking Tips.
We take a short lunch break at 12:30 with more networking.
After lunch, at 1:00PM sharp we gather for our guest speakers to share with us the secrets of selling more of our books and services.
Our guest speakers this month are:
Best Selling Author, Patrick Snow will speak about ... Creating a Best Selling Book Cover. Learn a few tricks of the trade.
Media Authority, Mike Siegel will speak about ... Media Tips for Authors. How to be an effective guest on a radio talk-show while promoting your book?
Author, Jack Fecker will speak about ... Writing the Conversations for Change - Entrepreneurial authors are fast becoming the renaissance writers of the future. We will be exploring how our stories are crucial at this time in our history. We are the thinkers, the storytellers, and the authors at the forefront of change.
=====================================
Save a little time in your schedule after 2:00PM for Q&A and small gatherings at the Mosaic CoffeeHouse. It is a great opportunity to become better friends with your associates.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH! I'm SOOO nervous! My first Biznik event! Will I be good enough? Is romantic poetry even publishable nowdays, or should I just go to a slam? What if nobody wants to sit by me! AND... can you mix business with pleasure? (Do they have DARK hot chocolate?!?)

Please don't be offended... due to the long format, I might have to bring some (gulp!) work with me, and do it discreetly under the table while listening to all this wisdom.

This was a great event as always. So much to learn from a great panel of speakers and from all the Bizniks.
I mentioned "cause marketing" as my new business/marketing model. I will be presenting a a one-day intensive Jump Start Your Job Search workshop on Jan 31. If you are interested in promoting the event to raise funds for your favorite non-profit (or yourself) please contact me at ra.baum@gmail.com or on Biznik for details. I am using Eventbrite to facilitate ticket sales and track referrals.
