Event description

Have you ever considered writing and/or publishing a book?

Are you already published and looking for some ideas on how to sell more copies of your book?

If so this gathering is for you. Aspiring and Published authors will meet at the Mosaic Coffeehouse from 11AM to 2PM to network and learn from each others experience.

Individual introductions will start promptly at 11AM. Each attendee will have the opportunity to Shamelessly Brag about themselves while your host is sharing Biznik Networking Tips.

We take a short lunch break at 12:30 with more networking.

After lunch, at 1:00PM sharp we gather for our guest speakers to share with us the secrets of selling more of our books and services.

Our guest speakers this month are:

  • Best Selling Author, Patrick Snow. He will speak about the 21 Mistakes to Avoid When Publishing/Promoting Your Book.

  • Colleen Wainwright, a.k.a. "the communicatrix." She is one of the internet's most popular bloggers and she has traveled all the way from Los Angles to meet interesting Bizniks. She will share with us the power of the 95/5 rule in blogging.

Save a little time in your schedule after 2:00PM for small gatherings at the Mosaic CoffeeHouse. It is a great opportunity to become better friends with your associates.

I'll be there and I'll be bringing copies of my latest book, GET INTO PRINT: Creating Expert Status in the Public Domain

If anyone wants me to reserve a copy for them, I know these will be selling like hot cakes!

    Until then,

Hate to miss this. Booked my aeroplane ticket for the wrong return date and just choke on the $208 change fee--so, see you next time.

Guinevere, I just cancelled my reservation, and left you a phone message letting you know that a spot has opened up for you. I hope you get in, for it sounds like an absolutely stunning opportunity.

Or whoever registers...I hope it is perfect for you.

Another activitiy opened up in Bellingham that is exceptional for me; so I am redirecting. I hope another one of these comes along - for I will be there with bells on if at all possible.

This was such a great time, Howard and the Author-Publisher's Roundtable attendees! Thanks for being there and teaching me what you know and what you want to know. I loved hearing about your book ideas and your eagerness to be of help. Hey, if you don't have time to read helpful books, checkout my blog: http://helpfulbooks.wordpress.com

    Howard,

You run a great meeting where every single attendee comes away with a lot of information and great contacts. The writing/publishing community at biznik is really impressive.

Another fantastic event. You managed to find the perfect combination of information exchange and plain old socializing. Despite the name, I'd recommend the Author-Publisher Roundtable to anyone wanting to get their feet wet in writing or in Biznik--you don't need to be an aspiring author to get a ton out of it (although you may be inspired to become one because of it!)

Howard, you did an amazing job of timing to get everyone heard. This event ended on time thanks to you. Every month you get better. Thanks for the work you put into this event. And thanks for the plug at the start of my one minute. It sure made it easier.

Thank you Howard, for hosting this great event. It felt like the "real thing". So many valuable resources and knowledge was coming together. To learn more about how to use what the biznik site has to offer was great too.

I just uploaded some shots. They show the energy and spirit that was there.

    Thank you!

Hey y'all, how did you hear about the Author-Publisher Roundtable? I heard about it from one of my students at a workshop I gave on Getting Into Print: The Art and Practice of Self-Publishing at Antioch University. Because of the high demand for a book from this workshop, I published a workbook called Get Into Print. Order it now.

You did exactly what said you do in your presentation. Captured that spark inside of people. Great work!
