Event description

[Looks like we can fit 100 people so I raised the limit again. Better get 'em while you can.]

Recession be Damned! Through trade, indie businesses can thrive.

This happy hour will be all about networking with the intent to barter so come prepared with ideas about what you'd be willing to trade to get yourself working at full capacity.

This barter blowout bash will be held at Space Design Build Collective and will feature free food and drinks and giveaways from the new barter currency site, Dibspace.com.

Want some serious publicity?

What fun it is to host y'all at our lovely SPACE! If you don't know who we are, we are a happy one-stop-shop for trusted design-build-remodel-decorate professionals, and we also have low-cost, in-house design services if you need help with your space.

Alas, I will be on the train to CA as of that morning so I will be joining you in spirit and enjoying the zen of my coastal train ride!

If you don't have plans on the 2nd Fridays, we are on the Greenwood-Phinney Art Walk. Last month, Dave Kuhns did his poetry for us!

Can't believe I'm missing an event at my own space, but my vacation was already planned! I'll miss all your lovely faces and I won't be sad I'm on vacation either. heehee ;)

    HAVE FUN!

    Blessings,
    Amy Woidtke

I stopped in this space on the Art Walk May 9th. Cool Place!! At least I'll know where I'm heading June 18th ... and looks like there will be a few familiar faces so I won't feel totally lost when I get there :-)

Looking forward to it. SPACE is way cool, Dominic is way cool and Dibspace rocks! Bartered with Becca Campbell for a brand new, gorgeous cookbook which I can't wait to get my hands on and will be picking up from Becca at this event. Oh, and I see some pretty fab people will be in attendance. :0)

Left Kirkland at 5:10. Reached Bothell (Lake City Way) by 5:18. Never left Bothell. By 5:50 p.m. I decided driving 2 miles an hour was not going to get me to the event. I'm really sorry, SUPER-Bummed, and... yeah, let's try it again! Dave Kuhns http://www.cyranowriter.com PS: Yeah, I'm the guy who's Dibspacing the Romantic Canoe Trips by the Winery! :-D

This was a very fun event in a neat location. I met very interesting friendly people and enjoyed sharing notes with them. I also hooked up with four folks I've been working with on Dibspace--it was great to meet them in person.

The SPACE space was very interesting with great art on the walls and an intriguing layout making me wonder about all the cool things that must go on there. (And it was nice to have an event close to Green Lake!)

Thanks Dominic, for putting it all together so organically. I loved the opportunity to sponsor by bringing something to share--clever! I look forward to the next one.

Wow! You all really rocked the house whilst I was gone! Awesome :)

Yes, lots of cool things do go on there. Our new website is in process so you'll be able to find out more online soon.

In the meantime, see you at Artwalk...or come in for a low cost, professional design consultation - because even small budgets deserve big design!

    See you soon!
