Event description

Bellingham Birds (women and their supporters) grab your walking shoes and meet @Wood's Coffee on Chestnut and Railroad...we will walk and talk our way every Friday morning to Woods@ Boulevard Park (approx 8:15 arrival) along the South Bay Trail. Halfway point is Woods/Boulevard-- we grab more earlybirds and a potty break or to-go cup before heading back. Not a competition... just a chance to share thoughts alongside other entrepreneurs and enjoy the waterfront.

While we walk and share our own entreprenurial challenges, we will observe the changes on our Waterfront redevelopment and consider ways to engage in our community, one step at a time...literally!

One way about 1.5 Miles. Flat, easy gravel and asphalt trail. Breezy on the best of days so bring a light jacket.

This event open to all! Bring a friend, your dog (on leash), baby stroller, whatever! If you get lost call my cell: 220 2997

So far our hardy morning group has formed new business alliances, made new friends, referred resources for each other, encouraged each other, shared expertise and opened our minds to new possibilities...join us!!

Susan, How true, how true! I have met amazing women in the walk and talk excursion. Thanks to you for bringing us together to meet other women who have dynamic personalities and a goal that we can do anything with the help of each other. Yea to Women Power!!

It is great fun...and I'll attend whenever I'm up early enough. I've chosen to ban alarm clocks from my life as much as possible! :)

Cindi, I understand it takes 7 repeats of any 'new habit' to form it successfully. My eyes POP open at 6am on Fridays now. I'm NOT an early bird normally!

Funny how a gray morning can be so invigorating...walking faster and breathing deeper. Welcome, Lynn, to our morning flock!
