Event description

An event to help you know your business neighbors personally, which is more fun and helps create opportunities for organic mutual referrals.

Please join Catherine Aguilera and Terence Moore for a stimulating discussion and interactive exercises drawn from ancient wisdom. Through becoming more clear about the original why of your business, and how it arose from your personal life story, you will be better able to present your product or service in a way that inspires and motivates your clients. By opening ourselves in a comfortable setting to knowing and being known personally using storytelling and community building principles and practices drawn from indigenous cultures, we as a business community can become more vibrantly alive. When I am alive to you and you are alive to me, mutual referrals flow effortlessly.

Since indigenous community is always local, business operators in the city of Snohomish and surrounding areas are especially encouraged to attend. Catherine & Terence are the new kids on the block in Biznik: come play with us!

I am fascinated with this concept, Terence and Catherine! As a shamanic student and practitioner of 30 years, I have always felt that indigenous and ancient wisdom has a lot to offer as far as community building... Thanks for offering this, and I will see if I can attend.

any other comments about this to explain the "time bending " part?

    blessings, Elke

As I understand Catherine's intention, it's more about bringing together old and new ideas (making previously disparate things relevant to each other) than time management magick. The event will be experiential and lots of fun. Her background includes drama, education, and interpersonal facilitation. Mine includes exploration of African Dagara and native American Lakota medicine, and how we can learn to become indigenous in our consciousness in the sense of no longer being exiled from the village or tourists on our own planet, as some of us in western civiliation have been made to feel like. There's a huge potential for healing when we discover we are already home, and we do belong.

Katherine and Terence, you may be the new kids on the biznik block but you ROCK for getting the first event going for the Monroe Biznik group! Thanks for getting this going - I'll be sure to let people in the Monroe business community know that this is a not-to-be-missed event.

I think this is also opening day for the Snohomish Farmer's Market. Let's all go over after networking and support our local farmers!!!!
