Event description

Birdwalkers and friends who enjoy a Sunday sunset through the chardonnay glass will love this one! We will meet at CJ WIJN'S Cafe to venture out for a walk and talk along the beach as far as we can go (tide is going out then) and back for a sunset toast! Carol at CJ's has graciously offered happy hour prices for our group, so email this link to a friend to join us! Loved the 14 Hands Cabernet Sauv and a Chardonnay called Herding Cats (really!) .

Let's be green and carpool folks from Bellingham and Vancouver! Please note if you can drive and how many bods will fit in your car. Trail will be a mix of sand and gravel so wear study shoes you can get wet. (Dogs are welcome on CJ's terrace.)

We will have a medium low tide that day and hopefully walk to Birch Bay Park and back...so bring your wandering shoes!

WOW what a magical day. The original attendees must have been otherwise occupied so I wandered up to Point Whitehorn Reserve and fell over Carrie Stone and hub snuggled by a log with get this--wine! Great minds eh? Amazing photos to boot. Will make this locaiton our next walk...it's a piece of heaven!
