Event description

Co-Hosted by Shannon Evans

Bizniks who cycle will not want to miss this great opportunity to network! Meet at Redhook Brewery’s Forecaster’s Pub parking lot (14300 NE 145th Street, Woodinville) for start and end of ride.

The ride will accommodate all levels of cyclists with two routes to select from:

Join Event co-host Shannon Evans for the flat Marymoor Park easy ride for those who are casual riders on the 10-20 mile course or take the harder loop with your event host Dirk Farrell and challenge him on the hills. Maps will be available at the parking lot for the event.

After the ride join us at Forecaster’s Pub for additional networking and terrific food.

Depending on the weather, I may join you. If I do, I will be on a bike that was designed for my limitations and with the earlier version of Brake Director.

now that's my kind of networking event! but that's my day with my kid. Maybe she'll be up for an awesome bike ride and fisn & chips after!

  • Dirk Farrell

Wow, what a great opportunity to role model for your kid, Liz! Outdoors, fresh air, exercise, friends, meeting new people, networking, excitement about ideas and what folks are up to ....

Hope we get to see both of you!

As for the weather, David, based on the season so far we'll be lucky if it's dry, blessed if it's sunny and joyous if it's actually warm so let's hope this week's forecast slides back at least one day!

cool, cool. Check a related post from Bike Hugger and the Mobile Social event in Portland. If you're going to Webvisions, a conference for creatives.

    Good stuff.

I can see up to Saturday - that's listed as a sunny 84. By tomorrow I should know.

BTW I have a Bike Rack that can handle up to 3 bikes. If some wants to carpool or donate for a little gas, that would be a win win. I live in Queen Anne near Fremont and right near the Ballard Bridge. Anyone interest can let me know.

    Great idea to carpool!

I may take you up on that, David, I live north of you against Carkeek Park which is rather on the way. I'll let you know as my plans flesh out for Sunday. Of course, if you get firm commitments, don't wait for me!!!

Pray for sun and warmth! My bike shorts are all mildewed from the spring weather thus far! I for one have this wonderful webbing action starting between my toes. I keep telling my visiting friends, "it is not rain...it is merely a heavy fog passing through!" I am coming from Bainbridge. Anyone else taking the ferry and want to car pool?

It will be 72 degree on Sunday. See you there. And my offer is still on to carpool if anyone wants to transport a bike along with mine. Let me know.

Thanks for setting this up. I'm glad to see cyclists in the group. Regrets, I'll miss it, we're going to the Capitol Bike Club ride in Millersylvania this weekend.

    All,

Post up on Bike Hugger about your event and biz on the bikes.

Thanks for posting, DL. I couldn't agree more.

People look a bit askance at me when I tell them I'm working while riding my bike. Why not combine such great opportunities?

Now, I just have to find a mac that I can integrate with my handlebars!

I had so much fun at this event, though I was not able to find the host or co-host. There were four of us who rode to MM park and then we met up with two more at the red Hook pub. There was a fun jam band at the brewery and the sun shined all day. I would love to do it again sometime.

This was a good event. In spite of not being able to find our fearless leaders, some of us found each other and had a nice ride together.
