Seattle Community

Event description

This time, we're starting on the south end of the lake and figured people need to walk the pups around this hour so why not include them too!

We'll introduce ourselves and our bizzes then head out. Pick up a chat during our warm up and cool down walking with whomever you wish, share tips, challenges, etc.

Patrick will be showing us fun ways to mix up the walk so you get a more varied workout and out of the duldrum of just walking.

Our pace is moderate so if you are worried you can't make it around the lake, don't be. We want this to work for everyone. I started this to help get myself back in shape, if that gives you encouragement.

There is parking across the street from the craft center. This is by the huge stadium seating on the south end of the lake and where the crews launch for rowing.

This was nice people. We discovered lower Woodland Park and I'd never walked through there.

Also came to conclusion that this is best a small group event so future events will be capped at 6 people.

Look forward to seeing others in the future. I'll be less visible until I get back from vacation in September!

That was fun! Nice walk, nice conversation, and little fitness challenges from Patrick just made it more fun.
