Seattle Community

Event description

Meet the hip and hard-driving free agents who make Biznik the business networking group that doesn't suck. This ain't no room full of business-card-pushing suits -- it's a permission slip to blur the line between work and play over cocktails, conversation and sushi at Andrew Friedman's bar in Capitol HIll. Like you need permission!

This was a great event. Usually I am like a deer in headlights at these kind of events, but I had a blast! I enjoyed all the people I met, had full and deep conversations, not just the usual "hi, what do you do?" ones, and really felt like I got to know some folks and made some great connections. Also, the fresh made lemonade was tart and wonderful.

I feel that Biznik is an amazing "container" that fosters trust, safety in networking and connecting; an inspired and fun place to build the kind of connections that truly form community. I'm a fairly new member but already it feels like a home to me.

The Biznik approach to business networking is community first, business second. Pretty radical for groups of this kind. We're creating an environment where people can meet without any pressure to refer business to each other, where we get to know each other, build some trust, discover some affinity. Once that's in place, business starts flowing naturally. And that's exactly what we're all creating together in Biznik. You guys are great.
