Brainstorming and Support Session for Writers

Writing can be a solitary endeavor, filled with challenges at every step of the way. Whether we're struggling with overcoming writer's block, looking for the perfect market for our writing, or identifying the next stage of the process, we can all use some support and fresh ideas from time to time. This event is an opportunity to connect with other writers and generate ideas to get you moving forward with your projects.

We'll start with brief introductions, and then turn the focus to specific challenges. Each participant will have the chance to describe his or her current writing goals and needs, and the rest of the group will offer suggestions for how to move forward.

Last time we had a great discussion that gave attendees lots of new ideas. Come prepared with specific writing goals or challenges you want to discuss, and be ready to put on your thinking cap to help generate suggestions for other writers.

In order to ensure that we have time for everyone, please make every effort to be on time. We will take a short lunch break halfway through; please consider purchasing a snack from Mosaic, which provides its meeting space free of charge.

  Glad you'll be there again, Patricia! Hopefully the second round will be just as valuable, or even more so. I think I've smoothed out the kinks in timing, so we should be able to be even more effective this time.

  I wish I could attend it but because my 3 year old go to school on that day, I am unable to make it since she have to be at school at 12:30.

  Diverse crowd, brainstorming galore, high level of energy and support...all pulled together into a coherent whole by our Hostess with the Mostess Annika. Basically the perfect Biznik event!
