Event description

All writers can use some support and fresh ideas from time to time, whether we're struggling with overcoming writer's block, looking for the perfect market for our writing, or identifying the next stage of the process. This event is an opportunity to connect with other writers and generate ideas and solutions to your writing challenges.

We'll start with brief introductions, and then turn the focus to specific challenges. Each participant will have the chance to describe his or her current writing goals and needs, and the rest of the group will offer suggestions for how to move forward.

Come prepared with specific writing issues or challenges you want to discuss, and be ready to put on your thinking cap to help generate suggestions for other writers.

In order to ensure that we have time for everyone, please make every effort to be on time. We will take a short break halfway through; please consider purchasing a snack from Mosaic, which provides its meeting space free of charge.

I'll be in the neighborhood (so to speak), house-sitting for Leila Anasazi, so I thought this would be a great thing to do! I have a few writing projects I sure could use support and ideas about, and I look forward to hearing what others are up to !

    Thanks Anika!

    happy writing,

    Elke

Glad you can make it, Elke! I've been curious about your Wild Writers sessions. Not sure about next week, though - it's looking pretty busy. But keep me posted, and I look forward to seeing you on Monday.

Hi, Annika. It was great to meet you yesterday, though we didn't have much time to chat. I'm sorry but I have to cancel my RSVP for this event. I didn't realize this event and yesterday's were on back-to-back business days. I just got back from my honeymoon so I really shouldn't take two days off in a row. I'd rather give up my spot so someone else can benefit from it, and I'll sign up when you offer it again. I hope you understand.

No worries, Dana. I understand completely - I shouldn't be taking two days off either, but this was the only day the room at Mosaic was available. Anyway, I do this event regularly, so I'll look forward to seeing you another time instead. It was great to meet you yesterday.

And I didn't get a chance yesterday to say congratulations on your marriage, so I'm saying it now!

I really enjoyed the session. Annika was a great Event Host. I learned so much and also realized I have so much more to learn. Everyone there was so supportive and kind. I hope to attend another of Annika's events in the future.

Annika did a terrific job as host for this event. I left full of ideas and with the energy and optimism required to actually get them started. Kudos to all the attendees for sharing their experiences and insight.
