I missed the first event. Would I still be able to come to this one?

What could I prepare in advance that would help me to jump in and catch up? I understand there was a focus on goal setting for the next year. Anything else?

Hey thanks for adding that. Hopefully it will bring in others who might have missed the first one...the more the merrier...Right?

If you change the day someone else won't be able to come. It's the way it always works. We are all busy. As the host, you picked a day that works for you, so stick with it as there are nine people registered! Maybe whoever wants a different day can host the next one or change their schedule this once.

Be sure to email anyone who was at the last one or wanted to make it to the last one.

This is definitely not a small town! This is the biggest city I've lived in and I only run into people in my own neighborhood!

Thanks for organizing this, Christian. I really enjoyed the last picnic and am looking forward to seeing and sharing with everyone again!

I've got this on my calendar, but I'm having serious sun issues -- I am dealing with pre-cancerous moles -- so if it's a wildly sunny day I might not make it. Better the truth than you thinking I'm not interested...Maybe more info than y'all want to hear, but it's maddening to live in Oregon and not be able to sit in the sun.

Hi Christian - I was looking forward to coming, but I'm half-sorry to say I won't be able to make it. I say "half-sorry" because I'm snowed under with work, which is a good place to be ...

Darn, I'm not sure what I was thinking, but I can't make it on Wednesday. I hope to meet/see you all at another event soon.

Unfortunately, I'm teaching 10am to noon on Wednesday- so it's unlikely I'll be able to be there. I'm bummed, because I'd love to hang out with you all.

I was really looking forward to supporting you in your event, but my workload is such that I am going to have to work through the day just to keep up.

Hey Christian, At one point I thought you had posted your cell number just in case one was out wandering around the park and needed some guidance! Lauralhusrt is a big park, and I understand 39th, but North, South East and West don't always work well unless I can see Mt Hood or the River!!!! I'm directionally challenged. So a contact number would be great - thanks!

Argh, hate to be cancelling as well ... have an unhappy sore throat that's threatening laryngitis. Needs some attending to. Ohhhhh.

Sorry to miss this and seeing all my favorite Portlanders ... hope you're doing it (or something like it) again soon.

Christian, You did a marvelous job dahling!

I like the group a lot. I felt energized by hearing everyone speak - and we always get back what we put into anything. So I brought back energy and excitement to move forward and try new things.

The group it is a nice size with interesting business diversity as well as overlapping businesses. That allows for great ideas to come forth as well as new concepts to take with you and see how they might work in your own business.

I love the idea of this group, for when we help others we help ourselves as well. Because commerce is what keeps us all up and running and making a difference in our communities and ultimately our world.

The timing is perfect for me, spinning off this new business because it is both exciting and scary at the same time. Maybe I could use Emma's cave sometimes!!

What a lovely way to spend lunch hour in the park. It was an energizing circle and you did an excellent job facilitating Christian. I look forward to the next one. Not sure how long we can count on the weather to meet in the park...

Kudos again, Christian. I love the coming together of our community and the spirit of generosity. It's such a nice break to meet in the park and share and get ideas and support. Yes, let's continue. I'm looking forward to learning more about what everyone does - I think there's a way to all link together and really become powerful - like the Power Rangers.
