Seattle is not an option for me at this time so I am curious if this will be available on line or a later video.
I am very interested in using WP as CMS for a website and am a newbie to WP. Availability of decent tutorials on starting up with WP CMS have not been much help so far. I followed a couple and ended up with a non-functioning WP. Reinstall!!!!!!!!!!
Any suggestions for good resource sites would be greatly accepted if you are not going to be on line with your training.

A couple of housekeeping issues for those who are asking and those who are wondering...
We've expanded the rsvp limit to 47 and in the event you determine you can't come the morning of, please unRSVP so that others can...
And as for bringing laptops and making this a working session:
There is wifi (but it could be slower if we are all online at once).
We recommend coming to take in the presentation and taking really good notes ALTHOUGH Tom will provide all attendees class notes after the session. So you could come and not take notes....
Tom writes up really good instructions!
We welcome WP questions/challenges in advance through this event listing or via email if you prefer.
Please feel free to arrive as early as 12:30pm to settle in and get tea if you are a tea drinker...The Tea House has over 60 different fine offerings...

I would suggest that you have a short one on one with Tom Todd about the resource sites he knows of...and can recommend. It could also be that a little chat with him could alleviate your non-functioning site.
I know we have some good class notes we can share!
I am open also to an offline chat...reach out to me through email to set a time to talk.
