Event description

How is your cash flow these days? Every decision you make impacts your personal and business cash flow... Are you setting aside time in your schedule to pay attention to it? Do you know where your money is going and what you can do to increase the flow?

Join Sandi Olson and I as we host the biggest Cashflow Game on Biznik so far... There will be four simultaneous games going on at the same time with four people per game. Come prepared to share with the group one or two of your easy-to-implement tips for increasing cash flow. Please come even if you've never played it before. You will experience a LOT in a short amount of time!

Playing the game is a fun and risk-free way to:

• Discover your financial habits and beliefs
 • Experiment with new financial choices
 • Observe the results of your beliefs and choices
 • Practice “investing“ in stocks, real estate and businesses
 • Become more familiar with the concept of Cash Flow
 • Understand your Balance Sheet and Income Statement

We'll start with introductions, play for 90 minutes and end with a useful brainstorm/discussion on how to increase cash flow in real life. After the game, we'll be going to one of the nearby restaurants for some happy hour networking.

Here's what Sarah Max, CNN/Money Senior Writer had to say about the game:

“On a recent evening I bought into a limited partnership, flipped a bed and breakfast for a quick profit, tripled my money on “OK4U“ pharmaceutical stock. I also got downsized from my teaching job, bought a duplex and had a baby. After all that, I managed to get out of the proverbial rat race.“

I am really looking forward to co-hosting this event; seeing those of you whom I've already met and meeting those of you whom I haven't!

Also, please check out the Post-Cashflow Happy Hour in case you would like to continue the cash flow conversation with us after the game.

(From Wikipedia) A brief synopsis of the game for those that haven't played it before:

Cashflow 101 is an educational tool in board game format designed by Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad), which aims to teach the players concepts of investing by having their money work for them in a risk free setting (play money) while simultaneously increasing their financial literacy and stressing the imperative nature of accountability.

There are two stages to the game. In the first, "the rat race", the player aims to raise his or her character's passive income level to where it exceeds the character's expenses. The winner is determined in the second stage, "the fast track". To win, a player must get his or her character to buy their "dream" or accumulate an additional $50,000 in monthly cash flow.
