I have a convern about using the Cloud: Another real estate company owner I know was an early adopter of using the cloud for her business. The Cloud lost all her files and she could not get an explanation or get her files replaced; they just vanished forever. This was cripling to her business. She has emphatically warned everyone to avoid Cloud computing ever since this horrific incident.

Are there new redundancies and/or other protections now to prevent this from happening to current and future users? Can we review these in the workshop, along with how our information will be kept secure and private in the Cloud?

Thanks for your feedback, Michael. This is one of the very things we will cover. Not all cloud vendors are created equal. We will give guidance on how to know if a cloud vendor is reputable and how to ensure your data is safe and available even if the vendor goes out of business, etc.

I'm looking forward to connecting with you. As a document management solution provider, FreeDoc has hosted on-line solutions for RE brokerages since 2007. Though cloud computing can be a valuable tool in the right application, the entire process must be carefully analyzed.
