[Ah DANG IT! Looks like I ran into a little trademark issue with the event's original name, so though I mourn the loss of that beautiful yet taken term, life does go on. The best I could do was "Confab" but if you have any better ideas, let me know.]

So what's a Confab?

A Confab is designed to bring together the brilliance of Bizniks to address a particular topic, answer big questions and gain deeper understanding of important indie issues.

For the first Confab, the question is this: Since the Dot-Com Bust, the business world has changed dramatically and continues to change. As independent professionals how do we understand what's going on and how can we keep up if not take the lead?

If this question burns in your mind, makes your heart quicken and keeps you up at night, then boy-howdy you're going to love this event.

Hi guys, It turns out that new Biznik member Dan Miller happens to own a trademark on the term BizTank, and he's politely asked us to choose a different name for this event. So I've changed the name of this event to "Biz Think Tank" for now (Dominic can choose to call it something else if he likes). Thanks for alerting us about the potential violation, Dan - we're happy to help another member protect something we all hold dear: our intellectual property.
