I'll hold off on buying more post-it notes.

Good business cards are like cookies; people will grab several at a time and share them with friends. Bad business cards are like fruitcakes; people accept them out of politeness and then discreetly throw them away. Which kind is your card and how can you improve it? Join me for this workshop to find out.
Business card design involves dozens of choices and it's often hard to see which ones will work best. I've collected hundreds of cards over the years and designed more than a few for my photo clients, so I'm now pretty good at telling which cards will get talked about and which will get trashed.
A business card is your first impression in a 3.5" by 2" package, and a good design is one of the best ways to show people you're serious about what you do. We'll gather in the loft of Cafe Allegro and talk about what makes a card effective, study good and bad examples and figure out how your card can be improved.
My discussion topics will include design principles like contrast and eye-tracking, information prioritizing, card printing options, common design pitfalls and unique uses for business cards. Mark your calendar and get ready to put your best face forward!
ATTENDEES PLEASE READ: Most maps show Cafe Allegro on the corner of University Way and NE 42nd St. It's really closer to the corner of 15th Ave and NE 42nd. It's right around the corner from Magus Books facing the parking lot. If you can't find the cafe, you can give me a call at 206-291-2334 or ask anyone in the area to point it out. The meeting is being held in the cafe's second-floor loft. Thanks for your interest!

I would love to attend this, but I'm gone for the Labor Day weekend - please have another event soon, it sounds great!
Looks like there were a lot of scheduling conflicts with the 3rd, so the date has now been bumped to the 10th.
Thank you Andrew. I enjoyed your workshop and presentation so much that I will recomend you and use your services whenever I can.
