Event description

Join us for some serious networking in the greatest little casual joint in Ballard.

The wonderful and gracious Jefe Birkner has set us up with biznik food and spirit specials during this entire event.

To give a little backround: Jefe started this little cantina out of the passion in his heart to serve the food he loves in the way he loves. During the creation of his Cantina, he had a Green Interior Designer named Amy Woidtke, who's also in biznik, "green up" his restaurant's decor.

His business practices behind the scenes, reflect his care for quality and for the environment.

From his food suppliers to his decor and finishing touches, the environment, carbon footprint and sustainability issues we all care about these days have been taken into account with all his business choices.

Lets support THE AUSTIN CANTINA with our awesome business presences. Lets have some spirits and food.

and oh!

Let's talk some business and do some connecting and networking as well!

This event is gonna be so super casual and fun as well as productive and good for business - it's a no brainer to come on in and take advantage of Jefe's hospitality to take the edge off our holiday madness!

You HAD to make it the day I am planning to leave town. haha.

    Hmm...

Well, if I don't make it, have fun! The food is great and I hear he used an amazing interior decorator from Biznik (wink wink)!

Both Jefe and Sierra are fabulous hosts!

I have been wanting to try this little neighborhood restaurant since it opened...I walk past it nearly every day, as I live just a few blocks away. I love my Ballard 'hood! Looking forward to meeting everyone-see you all Tuesday!

    w00t!

what a great response! looks like people need a chill out in a cozy neighborhood joint before thanksgiving!

it should be a great time. Jefe is a darling.

    he's also the co-host

he should be listed as the co-host...

but the biznik bug-fixing-masters should be fixing that issue pretty soon... one hopes....

Just want to set realistic expectations on the size of the room. With 48 RSVP's we will not fit everyone in all at once. I expect some "fall-off" in people actually showing up, I expect people to come early, and late, so we'll have a great time with an ever-changing rainbow of interesting people checking out Ballard!

I am some "fall-off" as my clients will be going until 7:30. I hope everyone has a fabulous time and hope to make the next one! Love Ballard events!

I was SO looking forward to this event close to home for me but I will be working with a client having a computing meltdown this evening. If we finish early enough I will still stop by but thought it best to remove my rsvp. At least I know it will help to free up room for others

Will be looking for future Ballard events!

Sorry to have to cancel, but I've got a cold and jet lag and think I'd better stay home this evening. I'll try to make the next one!

unfortunately, I too will not make it this evening. I have been eyeing this place for so long, I am hoping to make it down soon to check it out. I live just down the street, and my flower studio is just down the street as well...opposite direction. It's great to see such a fabulous Ballard turnout, though I was wondering how so many bodies would fit!

I won't go into the reasons that I could, sadly, not join for this evening's event - hope the turn out was 'room-size-friendly'! thanks.
