Event description

People are wanting to Walk and Talk even more, so I will be hosting more of these events and encourage you all to host some WnT's in your neighborhoods (or mine!) too.

This event meets at the Black Sun in Volunteer Park (the big donut-like sculpture across from the Asian Art Museum). We'll depart for our walk at 8:40am, heading north so if you are late, run and catch up. Hear real tweets from birds! Talk face to face! Move your body and start the day with some new ideas and new friends.

Wear: comfortable shoes and clothes. Bring: a water bottle if you get thirsty. Phones: Please turn them off. The focus is on face-to-face connection and being aware of our surroundings, so please arrive unplugged.Parking Drive into the park and you'll find plenty of parking spots in front of the Asian Art Museum.

Rain, sleet, snow or shine. Dog friendly event--if your dog is friendly!

If you don't find a Walk and Talk that fits your schedule or location, then host your own Walk and Talk! They are the easiest event to host. Be sure to join the Walk and Talk Group so you'll be alerted to future WnT's and so you can post your own events via the group.

Yay! I love that you will be walking with me on Friday, Bridget. Always enjoy your company. We still have conversations started that we've never finished! Looking forward to continue those on Friday.

Looking forward to seeing whoever can make it.

    Hi Karrie,

Sadly, my feet have been abused. I'll catch up with you next week. I love walking in the a.m. and a change of scenery would be welcome.

Karrie! I'm so sorry to have missed you and the posse of walkers. Long story short, my elderly neighbors needed some emergency assistance early this morning... everyone is ok, but the timing just didn't work out. I am glad to hear there will be another opporuntunity... and I'm inspired to host another in West Seattle.
