Event description
This is ultra-relaxed networking at it's best. We walk, we talk. It's just that simple. If you have not tried a walk and talk yet, well, it's time. As I post this there are 18 walk and talks posted.
This one takes place on Capitol Hill and starts with a short meditation and stretch, led by Karen Lindenberg of Phyzz Yoga. Karen sets the tone for grounded and connected conversation. We stop walking at 9:30 and often conversation continues a bit, but I try to keep these events to an hour.
Meet at the Black Sun in Volunteer Park (the big donut-like sculpture across from the Asian Art Museum). Karen will lead us in the stretch and meditation starting at 8:35 and we will depart for our walk at 8:45am, heading north, so if you are late, run and catch up.
Wear: comfortable shoes and clothes. Bring: a water bottle if you get thirsty. Phones: Please turn them off. The focus is on face-to-face connection and being aware of our surroundings, so please arrive unplugged.Parking Drive into the park and you'll find plenty of parking spots in front of the Asian Art Museum.
Rain, sleet, snow or shine. Dog friendly event--if your dog is friendly!
If you don't find a Walk and Talk that fits your schedule or location, then host your own Walk and Talk! They are the easiest event to host. Ask me if you want some help getting started.
And if you haven't already, be sure to join the Walk and Talk Group so you'll be alerted to future WnT's and so you can post your own events via the group.

I'm going to try this again, and hopefully my efforts won't be thwarted! I'm really missing my walk-n-talks!

Happy you can join us again, Susan. These events are really fun and easy to lead. It started as my accountability to get myself out and about and walking! It's turned into so much more, which is fun to see! Looking forward to this one as it looks like a very interesting mix of bizniks!

Ron, we'll keep it nice and easy. See you all maƱana.

What a fun walk and talk this morning! Thanks for bringing your presence and spunk to the group!
Announcements from our group today:
Karen Lindenberg of Phyzz Yoga will lead a longer yoga/stretch session at Healeo Wed. 715am. You get a free smoothie with your yoga and they are damn good! I had two last time.
Teresa Barthol is leading her first walk and talk in Mill Creek at 830am tomorrow too. Free Pilates pass for all attendees! Teresa will lead more wnt's in Mill Creek so tell your friends who live in the area! Support your fellow walk and talker! Way to go Teresa! It takes a while for things to catch fire, so keep up the posting and hosting!
Next Wed. at 230 I co-teach a class with lawyer, Michelle Bomberger on how to make your business worth more. It's not a biznik only event so don't be scared off by the zero on the event page! We've got sign ups already and there are still spots left. It's only $97 to attend and I am offering $100 gift certificates to all attendees.
Join each other's networks on biznik and I hope you are now an official Walk and Talk Group Member! Hope to see you on the path again soon.
