I'd show up for another sort of all out brawl; but I'll be in Portland for a workplace violence conference.
Early Bird Walk & Talk with Short Meditation & Stretch

Event description
Oh yeah, baby, Walk and Talks are cookin' in Seattle. The last two Walk and Talks I hosted were a blast, with bizniks not wanting to leave after the walk ended.
This WnT includes a special treat: Karen Lindenberg of Phyzz Yoga will be leading us in a short meditation and stretch before the walk to set our day and get in the here and now.
The walking is relaxed and conversation is lively. On a recent walk and talk I learned that in some circles "She's a mess." is slang for "She's a powerhouse and don't mess with her." And in another WnT there was an all out brawl. Well, sort of. You really should come and see what you are missing out on. These events are never stuffy. Please leave your tie and briefcase at home.
Meet at the Black Sun in Volunteer Park (the big donut-like sculpture across from the Asian Art Museum). Karen will lead us in the stretch and meditation starting at 8:35 and we will depart for our walk at 8:45am, heading north, so if you are late, run and catch up.
Wear: comfortable shoes and clothes. Bring: a water bottle if you get thirsty. Phones: Please turn them off. The focus is on face-to-face connection and being aware of our surroundings, so please arrive unplugged.Parking Drive into the park and you'll find plenty of parking spots in front of the Asian Art Museum.
Rain, sleet, snow or shine. Dog friendly event--if your dog is friendly!
If you cannot make it this time, I am hosting again at the same time, same place next week.

Susan, so happy you are joining the walk and talk AM crew!
Mitch (MC) I see you are back for more! Will be great to see you again.
Shawn, looking forward to meeting you!
Looks like a fun time. We might get a few more bizniks to join before the sun rises. If there is someone you want to meet on biznik, this is a great event to invite them to!

Hannah, I've wanted to meet you for a long time! Heard so many good things about you. The walk is just one hour total. People seem to hang out and talk afterwards because the conversation gets so juicy, but you can go whenever you like, we won't hold you hostage! Looking forward to seeing you in the AM.

I want to create a walking event that begins at my apartment building (St. James Tower - 920 N 34th Street in Fremont) and walks the Gilman trail for 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back. That takes us to Ballard and back with a gorgeous view of the water all along the way.
I hope you'll walk me through the process of setting this up. As some of you already know, Walking and Talking is my methodology as career and book publishing coach.
Remember what Einstein says, "To keep your balance in life, you must keep moving."
