Event description

From the Treasure Hunters' Code:

Everything's a Treasure or Nothing's a Treasure. I Get to Choose.

I'm not going to waste any more time on wishful thinking. I can always choose to relate to everything as a treasure; if I don't quite see how something is a treasure, I can get curious and creative until I see it.

If nothing's a treasure that's great too. I can go about my business. Things are just what they are, not good or bad. There's great freedom in that.

As a Treasure Hunter I get to say how I experience life.

In this short expedition we'll get really curious about how you already relate to everything. You may be amazed to discover how much your experience of life has nothing to do with what's going on out there.

We'll then explore new ways of relating, new ways of making everything in life a treasure. This isn't positive thinking, hoping and wishing, nothing like that. We'll get to work at the very fundamental way in which your mind is wired to relate to the world, and see what happens when we add some new wiring.

Best thing, it's fun! Treasure Hunt is all about playing and being totally immersed in life. And who knows, you may find a treasure that will last a lifetime.

Of course there'll be plenty of time to network and get to know other Bizniks.

This is the first of a series of seven evening Treasure Expeditions based on the Treasure Hunters' Code.

  • 6:30 - 7:00 shmooze with fellow Bizniks
  • 7:00 - 8:30 Treasure Hunt guided exploration
  • 8:30 - 9:00 yet more shmoozing

Think I'm going to have to miss this, unfortunately. Traffic is ridiculous from the North End this evening because of the Seahawks preseason game -- triple the normal drive time.
