What?! You haven't been to L.A.'s original & longest-running Biznik mixer yet?

Come see why you need to! No speakers, no agenda—just cool, indie business people like yourself gathering to meet, talk, share ideas, blow off steam and build the connections that will change lives. In a nutshell: it's networking that is FUN and EASY and FREE!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING "IMPROVEMENTS":

First, as this mixer consistently reaches capacity, yet remains the only one on the West Side of LA, we're dedicating the 6 - 6:30 slot to an informal "How To" on setting up & hosting a Biznik mixer. If you've ever wanted to host an event, but still have questions or concerns, come early and ask away! You can even co-host with us if it's the final push you need, but the fact is, all the LA events fill up fast, so there's plenty of room new events everywhere!

Second, Heather & Colleen love you, but not enough to keep picking up your tab (which we did to the tune of $40 last month). So we are moving to a new system of drinks/food ordering: order your drinks at the bar inside; each table of four splits a check for food. (And Heather & Colleen are totally going to have their own tab.) Bring small bills and make sure to settle up with your table if you plan to eat. We will gently nag everyone this time to ensure compliance across the board, so please do not take offense: we know YOU would never stiff us; it's totally that other guy, but we have to play fair.

We gather on the covered patio, closest to the parking lot. Don't worry: there are heat lamps to keep you nice and toasty. The patio area comfortably fits about 30 people, which is why we cap attendance for this event.

Colleen looks just like her picture, if it's five years ago and you're standing on a ladder, looking down at her. Heather looks just like her picture, plus cool glasses. We'll have name tags, just to make it super-easy. We can't wait to meet you!

freeway-friendly (right off the 90!)

hey kids, thanks for the emails, but yes 'bidding is closed' on the marketing makeover.

Dyana stepped up at the end of the event and offered the highest bid (confidential), made her paypal payment, and I did her site review today. in the next few days I'll have her critique ready and she'll be able to start implementing the tweaks immediatly.
