Event description

We’ll congregate at the Lenin statue at N 36th & Evanston.

Wandering first along the canal, we'll eventually pivot UPhill to stretch our calves and hamstrings walking through quiet streets to Peak Park. This sweet neighborhood park has a magnificent panoramic view looking over Ballard to the Sound and the Olympics.

Eventually we'll wend our way back down through the neighbordhood to central Fremont between 8:30 and 9. Any so inclined can adjourn to one of Fremont's myriad establishments to continue the dialogue begun along the walk.

  • Do you tend to introversion?
  • Or perhaps you’re new to Biznik.
  • Overwhelmed by the larger events?
  • Have a hard time making time for exercise AND networking?

Walk and talks are designed for you.

This is just a small group of people taking an evening stroll and getting to know each other. That’s it. Come join us.

Hi -- I just joined Biznik and have a technical question. When I RSVP, am I sent a reminder of the date/time/place or should I calendar that information myself? Thanks - this seems like a great business site!

    Hi Kristian,

I'll send you this in message form. It takes awhile to learn the nuts & bolts. Yes, you do receive a reminder from Biznik and as a host, I generally send a note out to folks the day prior. Will look forward to meeting you.

Amy ~ this was such a wonderful experience last time! I work till 7 on the 28th, or I would jump on the chance to do it again. Tell me which way you're going, and maybe I can join you part way through.

Hi Miriam, We'll be the lively bunch wandering along the canal from the PCC heading west...then we'll walk up the hill to Peak Park, where YOU guided us last time. WHAT A FIND! Maybe you can join us along the way.

Hello Cassy, Kristian, Shannon, Christopher Sean, Sandi and Darius,

Wow, what a lovely time last night. On such hot nights, it definitely takes some extra effort to head across town and show up to a 'networking' event with unfamiliar folks.

I had a really fun time with all of you. The gelato, leisurely pace and lively dialogue were an absolute manifestation of the Italian passseggiata. I look forward to seeing you at future events. Truly a pleasure to meet/talk with each of you.

    Shannon:

I'll put my thinking cap on re: career counselors, but have you considered teaching what you already know? It sounds like you have quite a bit of experience in marketing/communication. Seems like you could pass on that experience while you're broadening your horizons. Hopefully for pay!

    Just a thought -- Kristian
