Event description

Let's walk the Burke Gilman Trail for a few miles on Wednesdays this summer at 8:30am.

Parking is free for two hours at a time very close to my apartment building (St. James Tower in Fremont). Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring your own water with which to wet your whistle.

If you want to know more about me, here's a little snapshot in a nutshell:

My name is Jennifer Manlowe and I'm an "out of the box" career counselor and book publishing coach. I love being an entrepreneur and have jumped into the game after my contract ended as a professor of psychology, gender studies, religion and philosophy (all within the philosophy department). I've lived on the East Coast since 1995 and yet grew up on Islands in Washington State. It is so great to be home (since 2005).

  • I just moved to Fremont this spring and love being in Seattle -- much closer to groovy friends within this Biznik community!

Looking forward to meeting you and learning what's up for you, what's working and what's blocking your progress (even if it's just in your own mind).

Be well and hope to see you soon,

Jennifer

P.S. If you want to see how I use walk-and-talks with my clients, checkout my webpage: http://AuthorizeU.com

This sounds like a good time - my office is just across the street from your apartment, in the TPN building, so it couldn't be more convenient.

I hope to meet a lot of people from the neighborhood. How many people is the max for the event?

    See you then.

This is a wide open invitation and a free event. I'd love to meet people and learn more about my neighborhood (Seattle!). I just moved here at the end of April! My business is to get more people expressing themselves in the public domain (as authors and other creative entrepreneurs) -- I believe we can all make a contribution but, if you're like me, you THINK you prefer being behind a computer screen. Hey, let's put the social back into SOCIAL MEDIA networking, want to?

I say, join us and tell two friends to come along too, K?

Wonderful to have so many "takers" -- we're going to have fun and the weather should be cool, sunny and beautiful!

If you get lost or need to check in, please call 206.617-8832 (we'll be meeting under the red awning at 8:30am and heading west toward Ballard--if you're later than that... hustle and catch up with us!

    Jennifer

Thanks for a thoughtful and fun event. I enjoyed meeting you and the others who made it in. I was happy to pick up an iced chai along the way for additional energy.

I really like the way you frame questions to allow for people to come up with different answers. Our conversation opened us some interesting places in my own head that I'll continue to explore. I hope to see you again soon.

Thanks to you Renata -- what a treat to have you there moving along while fostering great conversations. Thanks too for being open to meeting all of us in short bursts and taking turns at sharing and listening.

I had a fun time and am glad you did too.

Don't forget I offer sample sessions if you want to see what we might create together (even so you know what I offer when you recommend me to other people). Up to you.

If any of you (or your friends) are interested, please call: 206.617-8832

    Best,

    Jenn

P.S. Not to be too self promoting but, if you would be so generous, please give me a brief "compliment" on my profile page. It helps show others what they might get by joining our weekly walk & talks.

    Thanks!
