Event description

Let's gather at Urban Grind, get out of our home offices or from behind our computers, and share something positive that each of us is doing to grow our business and to overcome obstacles in ourselves.

Regardless of the news, we all know that one thing we have total control over is how we invest in our own business. Sharing with others is encouraging, energizing and also growthful. I hope you make the time in your busy schedule to come along.

Last month's event was a huge success and people were glad they came and everyone left feeling more energized.

    Kaya,

I love Urban Grind. I can't make weekday meetings. I would love it if you or your attendees would consider coming downtown on some Saturday and meet new people. Here's my announcement:

I’m hosting a weekly coffee meetup every SATURDAY at 12 NOON at the Portland Art Museum | Museum Café, for folks like me who can’t get out during the week.

I’m looking forward to meeting new people and helping us all expand our networks.

David I would love to join you some Saturday downtown. It is usually my day off but I will try to come sometime if I am going to the market. I suggest you send out a notice or put it on an event page.

Hey Kaya- What a great energy we had, huh? Let's keep it up. Once every two months may not be often enough. I really look forward to working with you. I think we have some pretty distictly parallel philosophies. See you soon.

    Kaya:

Thanks for everyone who gave me suggestions. I'll be working on making the message as simple as possible!

In the spirit of giving, I hope to help Bizniks out with my skill-sets in the future so I'll be writing an article or two with some concrete examples as to how.

I'm buried with a ton of projects right now and I really did not want to take the time to attend this event! But I met some awesome people and potential connections for the future. I think it's important for all us solopreneurs not to get tunnel vision about our business, and to connect with like-minded and especially not like-minded folks to bring in some fresh air now and then. Thanks, Kaya, for organizing this.

So sorry I missed it Kaya. I tried so hard. Things are conspiring to get out of hand! We'll have to catch up at the tea house soon.
