Get Outside of Your Own Box! Idea Exchange for Solo Creatives

Are you a creative person working alone? Are you looking for inspiration, feedback and the exchange of ideas? Do you miss having coworkers you can bounce your ideas off of? That other set of eyes when you've been staring at your project too long? Being inspired by others' ideas? This event is for you! We'll spend a few minutes getting to know each other and then organize into small interest-based groups to set-up ongoing critique meetings. Bring along a portfolio page for show and tell.

  Anita,

  My original intent was primarily to involve designers, artists, & writers, and to let people sort themselves by common interest. But the event is open to whomever wants to come and if folks working in other areas feel the need for critique and feedback as well, then maybe this event can help to bring them together with like-minded individuals in areas related to theirs.
